At their flagship event, Pride Day the Gulf Coast Association of Pride announced that Karie Walter’s ongoing volunteerism efforts with GCAP has earned her the coveted “Outstanding Volunteer” award. The award was presented to Karie on stage by Board President, Walter Pitts.
Karie has been involved in the behind the scenes organization of Pride Day since its inception and each year steps forward to assist GCAP make it a reality.
The entire board of directors would like to take a moment to thank Karie for all that she has and continues to do to advocate for and with the LGBTQIA+ community of the Gulf Coast.
