The Gulf Coast Association of Pride board of directors along with Nicole Dubois (2021 Pride Day Queen) crowned the 2022 King and Queen at their annual flagship event, Pride Day.
The 2022 Pride Day King, Adonis Addicktion DeLorean and the 2022 Pride Day Queen, Catastrophe Nicole Knight will reign for 12 months.
Catastrophe Nicole Knight
Catastrophe Nicole Knight, known as the “The People’s Queen” is affectionately called, “The Big, Bold, Beautiful, Large and In Charge”. Catastrophe is a Gulf Coast native and plays a viable role in our LGBTQIA+ community. She is known for her beauty, quick wit, humor, entertainment quality, elaborate costumes, and a strong runway strut.
Catastrophe is the face of Catastrophe and Company, a troupe of coastal queens that travel near and far to entertain their eager guests. Catastrophe is also an advocate for our community, she has given to us since her drag career started and continues to give back. Catastrophe was previously awarded the Gulf Coast Equality Fest Award in 2020 for her attributes.
She has bridged the gap through the art of drag between the heterosexual and LGBTQIA+ communities in Hancock County and Slidell Louisiana. Adonis Addicktion DeLorean, The Gulf Coasts’ Premiere Male Entertainer has been in the business for over 5 years now. Adonis has become a household name in the LGBTQIA+ community.
When people think of the word king, Adonis comes to mind, he is a leader who follows his heart for the greater good of his community. Being the humble person that he is, Adonis often works behind the scenes by assisting queens at shows, sponsoring pageant packages and the list goes on.
