Who We Are & What We Do
The Gulf Coast Association of Pride (GCAP) is a 501(c)(3) approved non-profit organization located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. GCAP is dedicated to providing resources to our local LGBTQIA+ community. It is our goal to produce a yearly pride event that inspires, celebrates, educates, and commemorates the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s unique and diverse LGBTQIA+ community.

​In addition to holding a yearly Pride event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, GCAP is committed to developing and maintaining a network of resources that will be available to the LGBTQIA+ community in South Mississippi and beyond.

Mission
Through cultural, social, and educational programs and activities, the Gulf Coast Association of Pride aims to promote unity, visibility, and wellness among people of widely differing race, gender identity and sexual orientation.
Vision
To inspire pride and change for the future while acting as a central resource of engagement and education dedicated to providing an environment of service, value, diversity, wellness and equity among people of widely differing race, gender identity and sexual orientation.
Purpose
The Gulf Coast Association of Pride is a 501(c)(3) group whose major goal is to promote unity, visibility, and wellness among people of widely differing race, gender identity and sexual orientation along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and surrounding areas through community activities and service.
